Editorial policy

Last updated October 30, 2026

Accuracy, transparency and clear labels are the standards we hold ourselves to.

Sources

Directory profiles and the news wire are compiled from public sources: company websites, official announcements, accelerator and event pages, and reputable publications. Every profile shows its source and when it was last updated. News summaries are written in our own words and always link to the original publisher.

How data is gathered

We use automated tools to read public pages and extract facts such as names, locations, funding amounts and dates. Our rules are strict: we only record facts that are stated on the source page, we never estimate missing figures, and we only publish business contact details that an organization has published itself. Editors review and correct records.

Labels

  • Feature — original reporting by our editors.
  • Founder note — written by, with, or about a company connected to the author or the publication. These are always labeled.
  • Claimed profile — the profile is managed by the company or person it describes.

Independence

We do not accept payment for coverage in the newsroom. Profiles are free and cannot be bought or ranked for money.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it. Send corrections through the contact form; we aim to review them within two business days. Profile owners can also claim their profile and update it directly.

Removal requests

People who appear in the directory can ask for their personal profile to be removed or limited. See our privacy policy.
