1. Who we are

Founders Panorama ("we", "us") is a publication and directory covering founders, startups, investors and the startup ecosystem. It is published by Musivo LLC, Tornado Tower, West Bay, Doha, Qatar, which is responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question, use our contact form and choose "Privacy request".

2. Data we process

Directory data from public sources

We compile professional information that companies and people have made public — for example company names, websites, descriptions, locations, funding announcements, job titles, founder and partner names, public business contact details and public social profiles. Every profile links to the source it came from.

Account data

When you create an account we process your email address, name, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider) and anything you add to your profile, posts and comments.

Messages

If you contact us we process your name, email and message.

Technical data

Our hosting providers process standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver and secure the service. We do not use advertising trackers.

3. Why we process it (legal bases)

• Journalism and legitimate interest — publishing professional, business-related information about the startup ecosystem that is already public, in a way people can reasonably expect.
• Contract — providing your account, panel, profile claims and community features.
• Legitimate interest — keeping the service secure, preventing abuse and answering messages.

4. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR, UK GDPR, UAE PDPL and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, to object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. If you appear in the directory you can:

• Claim your profile to edit it directly, or
• Ask us to correct or remove it via the contact form. We respond within 30 days.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers for hosting, database, authentication and web data collection, who process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards. Data may be processed outside your country with appropriate protections.

6. Retention

Directory profiles are kept while they remain accurate and relevant, and are refreshed or removed over time. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request.

7. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and row-level security on our database. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

8. Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new date.
